Blocking a table temporarily

Temporarily mark tables as unavailable without deleting them.

When to Block Tables

  • Reserved for VIP or private event
  • Under maintenance
  • Seasonal closure (e.g., patio in winter)
  • Staff meal break
  • Deep cleaning

Creating a Block

Navigate: Table Timeline → Right-click → Block Table

    Open Timeline

    Navigate to the Table Timeline view.

    Right-click time slot

    Click on the table and time you want to block.

  3. 3

    Select Block Table

    Choose Block Table from the menu.

  4. 4

    Set duration

    Choose how long to block.

  5. 5

    Add reason

    Optionally note why it's blocked.

  6. 6

    Save

    Click Save to create the block.

Block Types

  • Quick Block — Single time slot
  • Extended Block — Multiple hours
  • All-Day Block — Entire operating day

Blocks appear as striped areas on the timeline and cannot be booked through the widget.

To remove a block, click on it and select "Unblock". The table becomes immediately available.
