Detailed comparison
Pricing
- TableGo Basic is free with unlimited reservations. Pro is £99/month per venue, with no setup fee, no per-cover fee and no minimum term.
- Resos publishes four plans priced by bookings a month: Free (up to 25), Basic £39 (350), Plus £79 (750) and Unlimited £119. These are Resos' monthly GBP prices on 29 October 2026.
- Resos sells features as add-ons, each with a 30-day free trial: Online payments £9.99/month, Reserve with Google £6.99/month, Experiences (paid events) £17.99/month, and others. An All-Access option includes every add-on; its price isn't listed on the pricing page.
- Neither system charges per booking or per cover.
Payment fees
- TableGo's platform fee on deposits, event tickets and online gift vouchers is 0% on Pro and 3.5% on Basic.
- Resos charges a 2% transaction fee on every payment processed through Online payments. Resos says the fee is separate from the add-on price and from Stripe's fees, and is not returned when a payment is refunded.
- Stripe's card processing fees apply on both systems.
- Example: a venue with 800 bookings a month that takes £2,000 a month in deposits and event tickets, and uses Reserve with Google. On Resos: Unlimited £119 + Online payments £9.99 + Reserve with Google £6.99 + Experiences £17.99 + 2% of £2,000 (£40) = £193.97 a month. On TableGo Pro: £99. Stripe's fees are extra on both.
Moving your bookings and payments
- Resos exports bookings and customers as CSV files. Our team imports them for free: past and upcoming bookings, guests, notes, allergies, and the tables assigned to upcoming bookings.
- Deposits, ticket sales and saved cards appear on each booking with their payment status, so your team can still see who has paid.
- Check your Stripe dashboard before you switch. If it says Resos helps manage your account, Stripe won't let another booking system connect to it, so TableGo connects to a new Stripe account of yours.
- Payments taken and cards saved through Resos stay in your original Stripe account. Refund or charge those from its dashboard, and keep it open until the last Resos bookings have passed. New bookings in TableGo use your TableGo-connected account.
- The switch itself can be done in one evening: stop new bookings in Resos, take the final export, and we import it while you update your website and Google links.
Features
- Both: online bookings, a booking widget, a table plan, guest profiles, data export, prepayments and no-show fees, and Reserve with Google (an add-on on Resos).
- TableGo includes online and on-site gift vouchers, guest reviews with public replies and AI reply suggestions, and Google review requests after each visit.
- Resos offers SMS confirmations and reminders (priced per SMS), a waitlist, Facebook & Instagram booking and API access as add-ons. TableGo's SMS updates and Facebook & Instagram reservations are coming soon.
- TableGo is built for UK restaurants, with UK-based support. Resos works across many countries and currencies.
