How much does a restaurant reservation system cost?

It depends on the provider and pricing model. TableGo keeps it simple: Basic is free with unlimited online reservations, Pro is £99/month, and Growth is £299/month. There are no setup fees and no per-cover fees on any plan.

Does TableGo charge per-cover fees or commission?

No. TableGo never charges a fee per diner or a commission on bookings. Your price is the same flat monthly amount whether you take 100 covers or 10,000.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?

No. Sign-up is self-service with no setup fee on any plan. Pro also includes free migration support if you're moving from another booking system.

What's the difference between the TableGo platform fee and Stripe fees?

The TableGo platform fee is our fee on payments you collect for deposits, gift vouchers and events — 3.5% on Basic and 0% on Pro and Growth. Stripe's card processing fees (e.g. 1.5% + 20p per UK card payment) are charged separately by Stripe and apply on all plans.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Paid plans are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime. There are no long-term contracts or lock-ins.

What's included in the free Basic plan?

Basic includes unlimited online reservations, a public TableGo page, guest profiles and staff notes, email and in-app notifications, and guest reviews. Deposits, vouchers and events are available with a 3.5% platform fee. There's no time limit and no credit card required.

Should I choose Pro or Growth?

Choose Pro for full booking tools — table management, multiple venues, the full guest database, branded pages, priority support and 0% platform fees. Choose Growth if you also want featured visibility on tablego.uk, SMS guest messaging and managed local ad campaigns.

Is TableGo a cheaper OpenTable or ResDiary alternative?

Because TableGo has no per-cover fees, busy venues paying per cover elsewhere often save by switching to a flat monthly plan. The right comparison depends on your volume and plan, so check each provider's latest pricing before deciding.
