Sell tickets for wine tastings, supper clubs, live music or any one-off night. Guests buy on your event page or your website, pay by card and get their confirmation by email.
Note
Where to find it
- 1
Click Create Event
On a phone the button reads Create.
- 2
Add the details
Event Name, Date and Start Time are required. Add an End time, a Description of up to 2,000 characters, and up to 10 Event images. The first image is the cover.
- 3
Set Capacity and Price
How many tickets to sell, and the price per person (at least £1).
- 4
Click Create event
The event's page opens.
You should see: Event created successfully. The event starts as a Draft, so guests can't see it yet.
Set the ticket rules#
On the event's Ticketing tab you can set:
- Minimum per order and Maximum per order
- Tickets sold elsewhere — tickets sold before TableGo or on another platform, so the remaining count stays right
- Refunds — No refunds (the default), or Refunds allowed until cutoff with the Cutoff (days) before the event
- Show remaining tickets on the event page
- Limit ticket sales to a time window — a Sales Start and Sales End, for example to open sales on a set date
Click Save ticket settings. Each event has a single ticket price, so create a separate event for a different price.
Publish it#
Use the publishing menu at the top of the event: Draft keeps it hidden, Public lists it on your events page and widget, and Unlisted lets only people with the link buy. View Event Page shows what guests see.
Where guests buy#
- Your TableGo event page
- Your website, with the events widget from Settings → Website & Integrations
- Your booking widget, if you feature the event
Guests pay on a secure Stripe checkout and are emailed a confirmation with the event details and a Manage Order button. There's no ticket to scan, so check guests in by name from the Orders tab.
Fees#
On Basic, TableGo's platform fee is 3.5% of each order; on Pro it's 0%. Stripe's processing fees apply on both plans.
Edit, duplicate or archive#
Use the ⋮ menu in the Events list to Edit or Duplicate an event; a copy starts as a Draft. An event with no orders can be deleted. One with orders can only be archived, which takes it off your public listings and keeps its records. Restore from Archive brings it back.
