Sometimes bookings need to be cancelled. Here's how to handle it properly.
Staff Cancellation
Navigate: Reservation Details → Cancel Reservation

Open the reservation
Find and click on the reservation.

Click Cancel
Select Cancel Reservation from the actions.

Select a reason
Choose a cancellation reason (optional).

Notify guest
Choose whether to send an email notification.

Confirm
Click Confirm to complete the cancellation.
Guest Self-Cancellation
Guests can cancel through their confirmation email link, within your cancellation policy window. If a deposit was taken, refunds follow your deposit rules, and you receive a notification.
Deposit Refunds
If the booking had a deposit:
- Within Cutoff — Automatic refund processed
- After Cutoff — Deposit retained (per your policy)
- Manual Refund — You can override and refund anyway
No-shows are different from cancellations. Use "No-Show" status when a guest doesn't arrive without notifying you.
